How do I delete my NexuSelf Account?
You can delete your NexuSelf account directly from the NexuSelf app at any time. Just follow these steps:
- Open the NexuSelf app
- Go to Settings
- Tap on Delete My Account
- Confirm the deletion
When you delete your account:
- All your personal data (account info, health data, food logs, photos) will be permanently deleted immediately
- Data deletion occurs immediately from all systems
- This action cannot be undone - all data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
- Some financial records may be retained as required by law

What data does NexuSelf collect and store?
We collect the following information to provide our services:
Account Information:
Email address, name, and profile picture (from Google or Apple Sign-In)
Personal and Health Information:
Age, gender, height, current weight, target weight. Fitness goals, activity preferences, health context
Food and Nutrition Data:
Food logs (meal information, quantities, nutritional details). Food photos (stored securely on our servers for meal history and Analysis). Barcode data from scanned packaged foods
All data is stored securely on servers operated by DigitalOcean in California, USA, using MongoDB. We do NOT collect device information, IP addresses, location data, usage analytics, cookies, contacts, or microphone/audio data.
How do I log into my NexuSelf account?
NexuSelf uses secure Google Sign-In. When you open the app, you’ll be asked to choose your Google account. That’s it — no password or manual signup is required. It’s seamless, quick, and secure.
I changed my phone. How do I access my account again?
Just download the NexuSelf app on your new device and log in with the same Google account you used previously. Your cloud-based data (name, email, login timestamp) will be synced automatically.
What are the subscription plans and pricing?
We offer the following subscription plans:
- Monthly Plan: ₹299/month
- Yearly Plan: ₹2249/year
Prices shown are in Indian Rupees (INR) and may vary by region. Actual pricing in your local currency will be displayed at checkout. Each subscription plan provides full access to all premium features of the NexuSelf app.
What is the free trial period?
If we offer a free trial period:
- Trial periods are 14 days long
- No credit or debit card required to start your trial
- You will not be charged during the trial period
- You will receive a notification before your trial converts to a paid subscription
- Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled prior to trial expiration
- You may only use one free trial per account
- Free trials are subject to eligibility requirements determined by the platform (Apple or Google)
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscription management depends on where you purchased your subscription:
For Apple App Store subscriptions:
- Open the Settings app on your iOS device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select NexuSelf
- Tap Cancel Subscription
For Google Play Store subscriptions:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device
- Tap Menu → Subscriptions
- Select NexuSelf
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Important: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to premium features until that time.
Can I use Apple Sign-In instead of Google?
Yes! NexuSelf supports both Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In. If you're on an iOS device, you can choose to sign in with Apple when prompted. Both authentication methods are equally secure and provide the same app experience.
If you choose "Hide My Email" with Apple Sign-In, Apple will provide an anonymized email address that we'll use to create your account.
How are my workout plans generated?
NexuSelf generates personalized workout plans based on fitness goals, current fitness level, measurements, and guidelines from established fitness organizations (WHO, CDC, ACSM). Our recommendations are based on information from authoritative sources including WHO, CDC, ACSM, USDA Dietary Guidelines, and other established health organizations. These sources are accessible within the app under Settings → Health Information Sources.
Important: Our workout recommendations are for informational and educational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any diet or exercise program or if you have any questions or concerns about your health. NexuSelf does not guarantee specific fitness results or outcomes.
How do I request a refund?
All refund requests must be processed directly through the platform where you made your purchase. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for App Store or Play Store purchases.
For Apple App Store Purchases: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the subscription charge, and select "Report a Problem".
For Google Play Store Purchases: Visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions, select NexuSelf, and follow the refund request process.
For Direct Website Purchases: For direct purchases through our website (if applicable), refunds may be issued at our discretion within 7 days of purchase. Contact us at Contact Support for assistance.
What is the minimum age to use NexuSelf?
NexuSelf is intended for users aged 13 and above. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service, and they must have read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions on your behalf.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at Contact Support.
How accurate are the calorie and nutrition calculations?
Our calorie and nutrition information is based on authoritative nutritional databases (USDA, IFCT), established calculation methods (Mifflin-St Jeor), and barcode scanning data from OpenFoodFacts.
Please note: Nutritional information should be considered estimates rather than precise measurements. The information is provided for educational and tracking purposes and is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical condition.
Is my health data secure and private?
Yes. We implement industry-standard security measures including Encryption in Transit (HTTPS), Password Hashing, JSON Web Tokens for authentication, and restricted Access Controls. Your data is stored securely on servers operated by DigitalOcean in California, USA, using MongoDB. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.
What device permissions does NexuSelf request?
The NexuSelf app requests the following device permissions: Camera (for food photos and barcode scanning) and Photo Gallery (for uploading progress photos). These are only used when you actively initiate features that require them. We do NOT request or use location data, microphone, contacts, or other device information.
Can I download or export my data?
At this time, we do not provide an automated option to download or export your data. If you would like to receive a copy of your personal information, please contact us at Contact Support, and we will work with you to provide your data in a readable format.
What are my privacy rights (GDPR and CCPA)?
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) - GDPR Rights:
Right to Access, Rectification, Erasure (right to be forgotten), Right to Restrict Processing, Data Portability, Right to Object and Right to Withdraw Consent.

Where is my data stored?
Your information is stored securely on servers operated by DigitalOcean, located in California, United States. If you are accessing our Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using NexuSelf, you consent to this transfer.
What happens if there is a data breach?
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours, inform relevant regulatory authorities, and implement additional security measures to prevent future incidents.
How long is my data retained?
- Account/Health Data: Retained while your account is active.
- Food Photos: Stored securely while your account is active to support meal history.
- Deleted Account Data: When you delete your account, all data is permanently deleted immediately from all systems. This action cannot be undone.
- Legal Requirements: Certain financial records may be retained longer as required by law.
